Victor Soosai is a seasoned trainer and consultant with over 20 years of experience in management standards, sustainability, internal audit, and risk assessment. At Peterson Solutions Malaysia, he has worked with government bodies, MNCs, and SMEs across diverse sectors including agriculture, biofuel, construction, finance, and logistics.

He holds an MBA and specializes in sustainability frameworks like RSPO, ISCC, MSPO, GRI, and LCA. Victor is an HRDF-certified trainer, a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 37001, and holds a Professional Certificate in Anti-Corruption.

He serves as Treasurer and Board Member of MBIC, and contributes to Malaysia’s National Biomass Action Plan. He is actively involved in energy transition and carbon management initiatives, driving sustainable business transformation and corporate integrity.

Justin holds an MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Kingston University, UK. Muhamad Aizuddin Bin Muhamad Ridzuan

Muhamad Aizuddin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. He currently serves as a Senior Manager at Bursa Carbon Exchange (BCX). In this role, he is instrumental in building strong participation by sourcing prospective buy-side clients and enhancing liquidity for carbon credits and renewable energy certificates (RECs) through targeted marketing. Additionally, he supports the development of a robust domestic ecosystem for Malaysia’s voluntary carbon market (VCM).

His key responsibilities include onboarding companies to the BCX, conducting customer due diligence checks on potential participants, and engaging with various stakeholders, including government bodies, financial institutions, government-linked companies (GLCs), and industry partners both domestically and internationally. These efforts are aimed at promoting the Carbon and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) ecosystem.

Previously, he served as a Senior Executive at the Malaysian Investor Relations Association, Malaysia’s first and only professional association dedicated to developing and advancing the status and integrity of Investor Relations (IR) professionals.

IR. NIRINDER SINGH JOHL

Ir. Nirinder Singh Johl is a professional electrical engineer, who has served Malaysia’s national utility company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in multitude portfolios with distinction and charm for more than 36 years since 1986.

Upon graduation from University Technology Malaysia (UTM), he embarked on a pathbreaking career as an Electrical Distribution Engineer covering the frontline for 15 years in Peninsular Malaysia before migrating to TNB’s Distribution Headquarters to be in charge of its Customer Service Division for a decade, constantly engaging and listening to over 9 million customers before accelerating up the corporate ladder as TNB's General Manager Customer Service in 2010.

Nirinder also holds a Master’s in Business Management (MBA) degree from the University of Bath that allowed him to fast-track and strategically master in-depth expertise in other equally significant areas of the utility business, namely in Transmission, Generation, Strategic Corporate Communications, International Business during the subsequent years.

Nirinder served as the Managing Director of TNBX Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB formed in 2019 to venture into the non- regulated business aka beyond the meter business over the last 3 years and just retired in early June 2022.

Under Nirinder’s leadership, TNBX has pioneered a platitude of innovative breakthroughs including solar energy contracting with utility billing (SARE), I-REC branded Renewable Energy Certificates for Malaysia (mREC), both in bundled and unbundled RECs and on many more energy efficiency projects. The highly successful track record of TNBX speaks volume of the leadership qualities of Nirinder.

Although Nirinder retired from TNBX in June 2022, he would still be actively involved in the utility business with his newfound passion in Renewable Energy and will continue exploring and developing exciting new frontiers in the ASEAN market.

Nirinder has also been involved in consultancy work with Asean Centre of Energy (ACE) on the East Asean Growth Triangle (EAGA) REC Framework in 2024 and recently with UNRD consulting on PSS study with a unique Co Gen and Solar installation with BESS option.

Soon Hun Yang

Soon Hun Yang graduated with M.Sc. in Environmental Management and Policy from the Lund University of Sweden and a B.Technology in Environmental Engineering from the Massey University of New Zealand.

Soon is also the co-founder and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Eco-Ideal Consulting Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian based professional consulting firm specializing in carbon management advisory (carbon footprint, decarbonization roadmaps, carbon offsets and carbon credits), solid waste management and environmental data analytics.

He has more than 26 years of experiences in carbon management advisory for a wide range of governments as well as industries, including a wide range of multinationals and public listed companies both in Malaysia as well as overseas. He has been active in decarbonization strategies and actions involving supply chain of large corporate, including helping them to explore difference reduction potentials as well as potential carbon offsets options. He has assisted in issuing more than 4 million certified carbon credits and currently active in various carbon credit programs in both nature based as well as technology based projects.

Ravi has over 10 years professional experience in various quality management roles, auditor, consultant and trainer in manufacturing industry, corporate sector and industry. With an expertise in developing sustainability management systems, auditing, training, sustainability management and social compliance, he is actively involved in strategizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and has pre-liminary understanding in sustainability reporting against GRI, TCFD & SASB.

Ravi’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Science and Bachelor Degree from The National University of Malaysia. He possesses experience and knowledge in strategizing sustainability strategies, decarbonization pathway, etc. for diversified industry scopes globally. Since 2014, he has developed, implemented and maintained management system to enable the delivery of standard certifications for over 300 clients from various industries.
